雲端上強韌的管芒 – 雪山學校Lho Shyala School
馬納斯魯峰｢Manaslu｣海拔8156公尺 是世界第八高峰，此峰位處喜瑪拉雅山脈的中段，地理坐標東經84.56°，北緯28.54°。尼泊爾當地稱馬納斯魯峰｢Manaslu｣，同是雪山Mansiri 之名。｢Manaslu｣來自梵文的Manasa，此詞代表神山之意。位於尼泊爾和西藏邊界附近。雪山终年積雪，巍峨的雪山傲然挺立，隨着太陽照射會變換不同的光彩，日出和日落景色尤為壯觀。｢雪山學校｣就位在喜瑪拉雅山脈群峰中的馬納斯魯峰｢Manaslu｣山腳下。馬納斯魯峰｢Manaslu｣是尼國加德滿都聯合國教科文組織世界遺產名勝。
當地山路艱險，山上村民們平日僅靠徒步由山下走到山上，期間須六至七天時間。當地村莊因地緣限制，位處高山物質缺乏，居民無法負擔小孩到都市念書，多年下來許多孩子成為文盲。
